The company, which has been exhibiting at the show for a number of years, will be allowing rail engineers and professionals to experience first-hand its latest innovations for fastenings and fixings, identification and insulation, and protection. This includes its new thermal transfer printer, which has been specially optimised for consistent high quality printing for all the company’s consumables. HellermannTyton will also be showcasing its smaller entry level TT430 printer at the show, in addition to its stainless-steel marking machine, the M-Boss Compact, a product that embosses directly onto its range of stainless steel markers.
HellermannTyton’s cable tie application tools, which have been carefully designed with the rail market in mind, will be available for visitors to the stand to experience the ease of use & quality of application available following considerable investment in new product design. The company will be presenting both its EVO7 and EVO9 products, which were only recently launched to market. The products have been optimised for lighter, gentler, and easier cable tie application, with patented tension lock and cut technology enabling precise preliminary settings for every cut.
Such products are frequently used in the rail sector, for rolling stock, general infrastructure, and trackside-mounted housings. Cable management remains a challenge to the industry with manufacturers not only looking to reduce overall spend, but becoming subject to increasingly stringent regulations, striving to reduce the weight of products, and looking for high product availability. HellermannTyton fulfils the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) and a large selection of its products are manufactured in the UK, widely available all over the world due to HellermanTyton’s global presence in the marketplace.
Phil Hodson, Business Development Manager for the rail industry at HellermannTyton commented: “Railtex always gives us a great opportunity to showcase our latest products to the market and this year is no different. We are looking forward to meeting visitors to the exhibition and demonstrating the high performance of our thermal transfer print technology, in addition to enabling rail engineers and operatives to experience for themselves the full range of HellermannTyton cable management solutions.”
Also present on the stand will be representatives from HellermannTyton Data, a leading innovator in fibre optic connectivity solutions for the rail sector and other markets.
