Edge Protection

Flexiform edge protection is an edge protection which is used to protect cables and wires at panel edges.  This very flexible edge protection can be fitted easily and securely without the use of adhesives.

It provides an effective and good looking protection on sharp edged cut out sections.

Flexiform G51PA and Flexiform G51PAA is manufactured from polyethylene and offers a very good general purpose edge protection.  It has an operating temperature of -300C to +80oC.

Other materials are also available: Flexiform G51N is made of Polyamide 6 (PA6) material and offers an excellent abrasion resistance with an operating temperature of -60oC to +95oC. Where the Flexiform G51T offers excellent resistance to high temperatures and most chemicals and is manufactured from PTFE material with an operating temperature of =60oC to +260oC, intermittent to +350oC.

All products are RoHS compliant.

Edge Guard Cable Protection

Beading Edge Protection - EdgeGuard - this PVC beading strip is widely used to protect cables that are routed through sharp-edged cut out sections.  It also provides an attractive finish to panel edges, and protects cables from chafing or bulkheads.

Manufactured from Polyvinylchloride (PVC) makes it very flexible and easy to apply.  

It has an operating temperature of -65oC to +105oC.  With a flammability rating of UL94 HB.

EdgeGuard is RoHS compliant.

HellermannTyton offer PS1, SM1 and RA1 for varying widths and heights.
