| Technical Description |
The CEP is an external building entry point which provides access to the FTTH network external to the customer property. Designed to be housed inside the Toby Box 300 or mounted on a wall/façade, its compact size reduces the physical footprint of the enclosure on the property whilst maintaining all the functionality of a larger enclosure. The Customer Entry Point is IP55 rated and has a maximum of 4 entry/exit ports at the bottom. A range of seal options are available including for flat cables (up to 5.4mm x 3.0mm) and round cables (up to 5mm). The base is moulded with integral fibre management routing to ensure positive fibre management for G657.A1 and A2 fibre. The base will manage a maximum of 1.2m of flat cable and 1.35m of round cable. A single entry/exit port at the rear of the closure allows for fibre cable upto 7.2mm to be passed through the wall into the customer premises when the enclosure is wall/façade mounted. The TobyBox300 option has provision for a mounting screw to allow for the CEP to be fitted onto the TobyBox300 lid. A removable splice management tray sits above the inbound cable management area and the fibres are routed from the cable management area on to the splice management tray. The splice tray accommodates 2 x 3A or 5A splices (max length of 40mm) and are positioned to enable bidirectional and positive fibre management for 250μm fibre. |
