| Technical Description |
The HellermannTyton S4 wall mountable enclosures are suitable for both internal and external applications and have been developed for use within the last mile of the FTTX network. The medium MDU enclosure is 470 x 307 x 147mm (H x W x D) and manufactured in light grey (RAL 7035), UV stable ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) and has an IP54, IK08 and UL-94 V0 rating. The MDU S4 cover can be customised with a moulded or labelled customer logo. Designed with the large angled HellermannTyton IR Fibre Management System (FMS), the S4 S (Splice only) accommodates 10 SE IR MKII splice trays giving a maximum of 240 3A fibre splices and 6 PLC splitters. A loop through anchor bracket is pre-fitted on the left port of the base. The dual outlet of the bracket allows for loop through applications. The black rubber seals cover a cable range of 3.0mm to 14.0mm. The position of the FMS in the centre allows for horizontal splices and 4 red retaining blocks for easier access of the fibre routing onto the trays. The 4 red retaining blocks guide the fibre elements onto the FMS and their foam pads can be cut through to accommodate a range of fibre counts. An extensive range of optional accessories is available upon request and include lock, multi-drop seals (24 x 5mm drops), M20 cable glands (up to 14mm), loop through anchor kit, drop cable anchor brackets, SC or coloured splice trays, splitter holders for trays, internal or external loop storage baskets. |
