| Description |
The Short Body RapidNet Cassette has been designed for use with HellermannTyton Angled and Standard RapidNet Panels and the shorter 32mm cassette body depth allows the RapidNet solution to be used in areas with limited access or restricted space where a standard RapidNet Cassette cannot be installed. The RapidNet 6 port Short Body Cassette to RJ45 plug option presents 6 ports in the cassette at one end and 6 RJ45 plugs at the other end, with 4 cassettes fitting into an angled or standard RapidNet panel. A fully loaded panel presents 24 ports in 1U of space. The Short Body cassette to RJ45 cross-connect solution reduces the risk of damage to the ports on expensive active equipment. When used for server connectivity it simplifies the management of connections to each unit without accessing the rear of the data cabinets. The Category 6 UTP keystone jacks are available in 5 colours (Black(BK), Blue(BL), Green(GN), Red(RD) and Yellow(YE)). This allows for differentiation of looms at the patch panel aiding identification access levels, paths, routes or systems within the network. |

| Technical Description |
The RapidNet Category 6 UTP solution is designed using U-UTP cable loosely bundled in a 5 around 1 configuration which maintains performance and reduces alien crosstalk. The Short Body cassette has a 32mm depth and is manufactured with a simple push clip mechanism and polarising pips to prevent incorrect insertion. The 6 RJ45 plugs are manufactured to a uniform length (staggered lengths are available on request to allow for effective cable management). Rear cable management is provided within the RapidNet Short Body Cassette with integral strain relief which provides protection to all the cables and their terminations. All RapidNet terminations are tested to exceed all ISO/EIA 11801:2002 1.1 and ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-C Category 6 standards. All RapidNet Category 6 cables are made with LS0H material, complying with the latest European fire ratings. NB: Part Numbers given are for 10m looms in the standard 5 colours Black(BK), Blue(BL), Green(GN), Red(RD) and Yellow(YE).
