| Application |
The silicone markers (SLP) are halogen free and ideally suited to rigorous environments such as aerospace, mass transit and defence markets. As the material is highly elastic, it’s original size can be expanded 500% on application and 200% in continuous use. Markers are available in white or yellow material marked in black and international resistor colour coding. Characters are 0-9, A-Z and standard electrical symbols. |
| Application Method | Thread required markers onto the closed prongs. Expand the prongs and slide the wire into the marker opening. Close the prongs and hold the markers onto the wire and slide the tool away from the markers. It is advisable to use a little lubricant to help removal of tool from the wire due to the elastic tension inherent in these elastomeric markers. |
